On Jan. 1, 2010, the National Paint and Coatings Association (NPCA/FSCT) changed its name to the American Coatings Association (ACA). The change marks the culmination of the merger between the NPCA and the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT), which was finalized in 2009.
